what do you think about having red gerbera daisys and yellow sunflowers for a country picnic themed spring/summer wedding?

    That sounds very pretty!! Ask your florist about mini sunflowers also (and mini gerbs) would be a very nice mix... adding dimension/depth... mixing large and small headed flowers... Congrats!!!

    I definitely agree with RawWeedsToBloom... you should have a mix of large and smaller flowers. I feel like sunflowers and gerber daisies look kinda similar but I'm sure with plenty of filler and depending on the shape I think they could look great together.
    Also, I think the colors will be very spring-ish!

    Check with a florist on the pricing of sunflowers.  By me, sunflowers are not in season until July and are very expensive before July.  

    I love the idea...BTW.

    I'm a floral designer.  Gerbera daisies are good for a carrying bouquet, not sunflowers, too big and bulky, but good for centrepieces.  Bunches Bob
