HI! I would hate to work Saturdays. I've been fortunate enough in all of my life to never have to work Saturdays, I don't think.

Haha hello! Yes, you are very fortunate to not have to work Saturdays, esp. at a place that you can't stand! Hopefully once I get a new job this summer, it will be a long time before I ever have to work another one. Any plans for today?

I just finished watching the new, "We are the world," video.. have you watched it yet? It's very interesting, to say the least.

I DID watch it! I think I'm in the minority that really liked it.

Well...actually, I don't even know it's the song that I like too much, but I love the idea of all of those different musicians coming together for a common cause. It kinda pulls at the ol' heart strings.

NOW, if there would have been a Taylor Swift/Kanye duet portion, that would have been worth the price of admission.

Morning...

I was up until after 1am watching the opening ceremonies. Now I'm tired. I'm of course will be going to work in a couple of hours. I'm over working weekends, but I really do not have a choice withe my job. At least DH works weekends also.

I definitely love that part of it too. I was waiting to see Joel Madden in there, holding his daughter, Harlow, Lionel Ritchie's grand-daughter, since there was a promotional picture of them for the song on Yahoo News.

I forgot about the Taylor/Kanye scuffle! I was sitting here, trying to think of all the singers that weren't in it. All I could think of was Madonna. Taylor is adorable, I'm surprised she didn't do it.

SO AM I! He wasn't nearly as funny as a manager, and now he gets to play more pranks on Dwight. I think his pranks on Dwight are some of the funnest moments on the show.

Hey guys! I'm here. Jocelyn decided to sleep in until 8. I feel like I'm on vacation sleeping in that late!!!

I LOVED the new We are the World! I thought it was great. I haven't seen the extended version, but it gave me goosebumps just before the start of the Olympics. Jocelyn is going to love it. She has a weird obsession with Michael Jackson. When we sing songs together I always ask her to pick the next song and she'll sing "beat it" lyrics or "I'm bad". I don't even know where she learned about him.

Good morning lovelies! I'm chilling with the pupperonis. The lil one got spayed yesterday, so we basically planned to chill at home and take it easy. We'll probably paint and play video games until the hubs gets bored and then we'll go to dinner or something.

I don't have too much planned today - I have a few errands to run, and then I want to make sure I'm close to home because they're showing the men's 5000 in speedskating during the 2pm-6pm Olympic slot, and there's a chance that race could get pretty unpredictable. Other than that, I'm still sitting around waiting for school to start after the snow mess from the past week.

For me, this was supposed to be the first week of my semester, but Monday, Wednesday and Thursday were canceled, and those are the only days I haave to go in this semester. I'm really having a hard time getting motivated to do anything without school to structure me.

Those who missed school, any idea when ya'll have to make it up, if at all? We missed 2 days a couple weeks ago and they haven't announced when we have to make it up. Except that because I'm student teaching, I have to stay an extra week. NO. I missed 2 days, why do I have to stay a whole weeeeeek?!

end whining. ANyways, I've been MIA lately, dealing with so much crap. Looking forward to a weekend with no plans except relaxing with FI.

We've already had a busy morning. J had a dr appt at 8 am to get some hip injections, then a trip to Jiffy Lube. We're waiting on the mail to get here before we go out again. It will be a busy day of errands, the gun show (again), getting my hair did (dyed and highlighted), and dinner with J and FIL. Fun times!

I'm up and groggy. And I have a sore throat because DH forgot to put on the humidifier last night. Boo.

Our plans are to get lunch at some point and maybe do some errands. I think it's supposed to be aroun 50 today, so that will be a nice break from the winter weather. I love winter, but I might love spring even more!

Good morning!

My cat woke me up at 6:30 by dumping the rose that FI got me as an early Valentine's Day surprise on the floor...water everywhere. But we managed to save the rose. FI is sick, and playing video games and sniffling. I'm debating whether or not I want to go out later, or just stay in today.

I know! I hate cleaning my bathroom, bc my hair falls out like nobody's business and its so gross. I clean the floor in there at least twice a week.

Anyway, after that nice little story, I'd better get on the run. I live far from town and it takes me forever to get anywhere!

Ugh, my hair is the same way Shell. Between my hair that sheds like crazy, and the three cats that shed like crazy, we should vacuum and sweep every day. It sucks.

I've got my busy std project weekend going. I have to run to Anchor Paper and get envelopes, the ones I got off a different website are different. Then I need to get the cards printed, get a sticker maker machine, come home and assemble everything, then decide if I want to do wraparound labels in Publisher or InDesign (which I have to learn a bit about). That'll probably wind up being tomorrow's project.

You can be sure many adult beverages will be consumed in the process. It's my weekend off, and I'm so glad. I can.not.wait until I can either quit work and go to school fulltime or somehow get a job that is non-weekends. Probably the former.
