I think you should do whatever is in your budget whether that means having them or not having them. It's up to you. Favors are certainly not required. If you want to do something, do something everyone can use/benefit from...in other words, it won't go to waste.

For our wedding, we did a photobooth with pictures guests can take home. You can do your own DIY photobooth to save some money....Footballwife is doing hers DIY and one other bride on here. I posted to this forum about 1-2 months ago info on doing your own DIY photobooth.

In addition, we also had cupcakes and peanut butter candy. I always find food is a good favor option because ppl will not let a treat go to waste.

i found these mini jars of honey with a label that you can personalize. i think i'm going with that since i call my FI "honey"

I always appreciate whatever favors are headed my way (especially of the yummy variety) Always appreciate, but never remember em. Are they important? to the bride I'm sure, that's her money on the table. But I've yet to meet a guest who left a wedding beat because they missed the favor table.

YOURE ABSOLUTELY RIGHT, I TRY TO KEEP THEM BECAUSE I KNOW THEY COST BUT THE USUALLY END UP LOST OR AS TRASH....THATS BECAUSE MY MOTHER AND GRANDMOTHER ARE SUCH PACK RATS IM QUICK TO THROW THINGS AWAY.
