My videographer went out of business!

Just found out today via email that my videographer is going out of business. Please recommend your videographer.  I'm looking to spend no more than $800 if possible.

    I am using Martin's Video..He is $895.00 for the day, but you don't have to pay the last half of it until you pick up the video.  That is something I liked and his videos were very good.

    I am also using Martin's and selected the Popular package for 895.00.  Also, he only required a 95.00 refundable deposit.

    The Martin's name has been coming up a lot on these boards; I will keep them in mind.  Which location did you all use?

    Hi there-

    I used Jack Otepka Producations, out of Mays Landing, NJ.  He previously worked for Martins, but went into business for himself last year.  He was definitely under $800 when I used him; I'm almost 100% positive he still is.  Worth a shot- I really loved working with him- actually both he and his wife (who handles the marketing and such for the biz).  HTH!

    I met with martin's, and they were ok.  I just got a weird feeling, you might not, you never know!  We chose to go with Jack after I heard about him on this board.  he's great!  super nice and way cheaper than martins!  That really sucks they just closed up shop like that, but at least you get your deposit back!

    Try Tim Robinson in Cinnaminson He's great and very reasonable.. I heard good and bad about Martins from talking to photographers we interviewed. Apparently he hires inexperienced videographers. So if you do go with him make sure u know who will show up the day of your wedding. Hope that helped. GL

    Well I heard about this show that would love to document your wedding and all the events leading up to it. You should check it out, that would be the ultimate wedding video!
