Where to find MOB dress around Monmouth County?

Hi ladies!

My mom, bless her little heart, still does not have a dress for my June 12 wedding. She's visiting this week and I want to take her to buy one. Someone mentioned Cinderella Bridal in Matawan - anyone have any thoughts or any other suggestions?

    My mom got hers at Macys Bridal at Menlo Park Mall in Edison. Its not a typical MOB dress, but they have a room full.

    I would stay away from True Love- I think with a month left your best bet will be either Macy's, Nordstrom, or Lord & Taylor

    agree with Sherri- no true love at this point in time!

    I would probably go with places you can get off the rack, like Sherri said- or David's Bridal since it's so close.

    there is a store called Dresses and More in a shopping center right next to the one Cinderella Bridals is in in Matawan.  my grandma got her dress for my wedding there - they have a very large selection and the prices are very reasonable.  it is a retail store so you can get a dress same day.  they also have a pretty wide variety of sizes (petite, plus, etc)

    Ditto the other responses.  Try to get something off the rack.  Some specialty bridal stores require a certain amount of time left before the wedding to order the dress.  I would call those stores first that you're interested in before making an appointment to just make sure its feasible to get the dress in on time. 

    The department stores have a great selection and are great for non-typical mother of the bride styles.

    dresses and more works as well... but for their "higher end" dresses they still need to order them, they won't sell off the rack unless it's on the clearance rack

    My mom and my FMIL got theirs at Dream Dresses in Old Bridge and they were so great there.  Plus they have a pretty large selection, although I think it depends on the designer and whether they have it in stock on how long it will take to get the dress.

    We got my mom's dress at nordstrom.com, my FMIL got hers at the Dresses and More place by Cinderella's (after she cancelled her order at Cinderella's bc she found a dress she liked better at Dresses and More) and my other FMIL got her's at Hearts For You in Manalapan. We had good experiences with each place mentioned.  Good luck!

    I agree with this place.  Both my aunts got their dresses from here off the rack.

    My mom got her dress at hearts for you in manalapan.  They are really super sweet in there and her dress came in pretty quickly

    my mom got hers from a step up in old bridge.  They were very nice to her there.
