Just booked our Honeymoon! I'm a little mad because I lost the flight I had originally hoped to get, and we'll now be leaving at 9:30 am the day after our wedding instead of 12:15. But I'm just excited that I'm going to HAWAII! I have never been, and neither has my FI!
We will be spending 6 nights in Lahaina, at the the Royal Lahaina Resort, in an ocean-view room.
We got an awesome package that included airfare, a rental car for the whole week, daily breakfast buffet, $200 food and beverage credit, luau, sunset dinner cruise, couple's massage and free parking! It was one of the best packages I was able to find.

What a great check and a great sounding package. May I ask who you booked through? We are toying around with either going to Hawaii or the Virgin Islands for our HM. TIA
Plus, travel insurance through the travel agent was $118, and ins through Costco was only $64!
Honestly, had I not found the Costco deal I would have booked with the travel agent. I'm not knocking travel agents, just saying we found something better

[QUOTE]We booked through Costco Travel. If you're a member or know someone who is (I used my mom's Costco membership) it's really great. We actually went to a travel agent to see what they could offer us along the same lines and what they offered was cheaper but didn't include the $200 food and beverage credit, the massage, or the free parking. And it was only $160 cheaper! We ended up booking with Costco because of all the extras. Plus, travel insurance through the travel agent was $118, and ins through Costco was only $64! Thanks. We have a Costco membership so I will definitely check it out!
[QUOTE]Sounds like a great deal! I stayed at the Royal Lahaina when we went to Maui 2 years ago and it's a nice place (although I'm pretty sure free parking is included for everyone). You'll love Hawaii!!

It's actually $10/day for parking. Without the free parking we had the option to pay the daily rate or pay a daily resort fee which is $16/day and get free parking, coffee and tea in room, a newspaper, and safe access.
