Airbrushed the way to go?

Is having airbrushed makeup better than just having "regular" foundation/makeup applied?  A few of the makeup artists that I have contacted only do airbrushing, but I have never had it done before.  Was wondering if it is really necessary and will look any different or better than regular foundation.
thank you

Re: Airbrushed the way to go?

  • I was wondering the same thing. But another option may be a good primer under the foundation. The primer helps the makeup stay on all day.
  • I got airbrushed for Epics and loved it--it looked flawless, felt great and lasted all night. I had a trial with regular and it felt heavy and greasy. So I got airbrushed for the wedding and loved it again for all the same reasons.
  • I just had my hair and makeup trial and tried airbrush for the first time.  I have to say that the airbrush was so much lighter than regular makeup/foundation and it stayed on and was flawless.

  • Most people here do seem to like airbrushing.  I was airbrushed at Sephora using the Temptu system and I didn't like it.  I used primer, setting powder, and setting powder to set my foundation.  I would do a trial to see how you feel about airbrushing.
