Hello Ladies!

I don't think I have ever posted on here so I should start by introducing myself. My name is Stephanie and My FI and I are getting married on March 20, 2011.

We are trying to come up with a song for a dear (male) friend of mine to sing at the wedding. Not sure when or where I will fit it in, but it will be during the ceremony. I really like the song at the end of the movie Fireproof... I think this is the song... Let me know what you think... Is it appropriate? And if so, where would it belong in the ceremony? Or maybe can you think of a better song choice?

    My friends used this song for their first dance.  I know they discussed using it for the Unity Candle portion, though.

    My SIL used 2 songs in her wedding -- 1 for the unity candle, and 1 for when they were walking to the kneeling bench from the altar steps.  So, it would also be a good traveling song if you are doing the kneeling bench.

    I love that song... it might make our top 5 for the song for the unity candle or something else.  We shall see!! :-)

    We're using "Love Is Not a Fight" for our Prelude (when the mothers are seated too).  It's a GREAT song. :D

    We originally were going to have a male friend of ours sing it, but didn't want to make the service too long. I think it fits just perfectly at a wedding. :)

    We just watched Fireproof for the first time yesterday- soooo good! That song is awesome, too! Wherever you decide to put it in the wedding, it will be great! Good choice.
