My FI aunt whom he is currently living with because she cannot support herself is on Medicare - she recently went to the hospital for an anxiety attack - and thus has a follow up appt at her primary care doc next week (side note : when he told her in Dec he planned to propose this year - within a week she had a heart attack - and we have seriously been discussing the FI moving closer to me and my son - if not in together completely yet and she has a panic attack at 4AM )
anyways she has an appt next week - every time she goes it costs her upwards of an 80$ copay - I currently have no insurance - if i go see my doctor - it costs me 80$. does this sound right ? shouldn't the doc visit cost be less - not a specialist or anything just her regular doc -
Re: NWR - how much do any of you know about medicare?
Sounds like her medicare is not paying her visits 100% and it is her coinsurance. I'd have her call!

She has no secondary insurance - this is her main insurance - and getting her to call about anything is like pulling teeth - which means I am the one going to be trying to get it all fixed so she can be a little more self sufficient as far as money goes
so we can finally get a place and not be paying half her bills
(this is a major point of contention with FI right now )
