I like soooo many different things and I can not pin point which one I should settle on. I really like pinks and silvers so I was somewhat interested in a dark and elegant theme, but I also love pearls and diamonds for a breakfast at Tiffany theme would be great as well... I also love shabby chic and antiques... I'm so confused!!!!
Re: I'm freaking out, I cant narrow my down a wedding theme
When's your wedding?
Def have a brainstorm session with your FI.
Once we narrowed down the month (April), it was easy to decide on the main color (green, with shades of pink as the contrast color) and we are still hammering out the final shade (a light but earthy green) because we still have to decide on the BM dresses.
Unless you're planning on getting married before the end of year, you've got some time to get it all figured out

[QUOTE]Do you have an idea of when and where you want to have your wedding? I think the time of year and setting (indoor vs outdoor, church vs other, etc) can set the tone for the color scheme. Like I wouldn't think to have yellow in a winter wedding unless you're in a warm/tropical area. Def have a brainstorm session with your FI. [QUOTE]Either buy some wedding magazines and start tearing out pictures of things you like, or start a Pinterest board and start pinning pictures. After a bit you will start to see trend of styles and colors you like. Also, when you mark the pictures, note what it is you like about it so when you look back on them you'll know why you saved it. Good luck and enjoy planning.

if you're doing a dinner i think the Breakfast at Tiffany theme would be misplaced (besides imo the white/aqua 'tiffany' thing is overdone).
you can easily combine colors and the shappy chic theme as long as everthing coordinates.
what does you FI want to do?
If you're overwhelmed looking at magazines/Pinterest, take some time away to think. What do you and FI like to do together (indoors? outdoors?)? Do you have a date set? When you think about your ideal wedding, what comes to mind? What time of day is it? Intimate gathering or large party? Are you inside or outside? Time of day? If you're tired of the kind of wedding you see all the time at work, what does appeal to you (brunch, afternoon tea, turn-of-the-century garden party, elegant picnic, rustic lodge dinner)?
Enjoy the process! As PP have said, you don't need a "theme" per se, just a direction/vision/inspiration to guide & coordinate your planning.
