so after 8 months of dating i'm engaged
here's the whole story of how it happened...
so FI and i are both in college and both greek. we met three years ago when our organizations were paired up together for homecoming. we became good friends but nothing more because i was dating someone else. we would talk every once in a while and whenever i hung out at school i always made sure to look out for him even to just say hi. for whatever reason he always kept a special little place in my heart. fast forward 2 years and some and my then boyfriend breaks up with me. FI and i hadn't spoken in while but for whatever reason a few days after the break up we saw each other and he invited me to the movies "as a friend." from there it's pretty much history.
as for the engagement, we had been dying to go to disney world and they introduced a special price on admission to 3 parks so FI suggested we go on 2.23.12 (our 8 month a versary). he had been acting kind of funny and had told me about a "surprise" he had for me but i never would've expected an engagement. we arrived in epcot on 2.24.12 and i boarded the spaceship earth ride with a friend. FI said he would make the line and ride it later with me. when we got out he was nowhere to be found. he texted my friend and told me to head to the mission space ride. when i got there, i received a clue. what ensued was a scavenger hunt all over the park with each clue alluding to our first trip ever together which was in epcot. it was so cute. the last clue led me to the mexico pavillion where he was waiting for me. he told me how much he loved me and that he wanted to spend his life with me and got down on one knee in front of everyone. it was the most magical proposal i could have ever imagined
