Emotional

So I've found myself like really emotional about the weddiing the last couple of days. I mean I cry at a good hallmark commercial anyway.. but geez.

We were going through vows and the ceremony outline last night and I read them outloud and just started bawling... maybe if I get it out of the way now I won't cry during the ceremony.

Then my friend downloaded some music for me that we're using during the ceremony and I was listening to it while I work on a fnancial forecast for work, yeah .. here come the tears again. so glad my boss didn't walk in right then!

I'm going to stick like 5 hankies in his pocket before the ceremony.

Re: Emotional

  • I am the same way lately. Yesterdsy I watched some wedding videos and cried my eyes out. Or I read our ceremony and I cry.
  • What is with that? I've always cried easily but listening to our processional song last night had me in tears. And we actually sat in the car and talked (with me crying) about the wedding and wedding stress and everything for a half hour last night after we got home from shopping (guys wedding clothes and dropping my ring off to be cleaned/plated).

It's not PMS, I'm not pregnant....it's just this wedding! crazy.

  • I know! I'm doing the same thing. I attended a wedding on Saturday and teared up during the ceremony .. I've NEVER cried during a wedding before! I don't know how I'm going to keep it together for our vows (which we're writing), and the readings, and everything else during the ceremony ...
  • I'm obsessed with the show four weddings and any time they aren't focusing on the noise or whatever else is going on during the ceremony I tear up. I am definitely going to need a hanky during the ceremony!

  • What really got me was, we were reading 2 or 3 different wordings of our vows to pick out which one we like, and he read a set out loud and he started to tear up too.

awwww... that just made it worse!

That's funny.  My FI and used funny crazy voices when we were going through the ceremony so we couldn't/wouldn't feel like we were marrying ourselves.  Dumb we know, but we just couldn't be serious that night.  We were still crying - just because we were laughing at how dumb we both were!

  • I have been getting teary eyed when listening to potential father/daughter dance songs.

  • I've been the same way! My aunt just shared a link with me on facebook for the father/daughter dance: "I loved her first" by Heartland. As I listened I was bawling like a baby! There's no way I can get through that song without crying while dancing with my dad. And I have a feeling I'll be doing the same thing during the ceremony. I feel like such a whimp. Haha.
