I am hosting my friend's shower in July and she is on a gluten free diet.  I would at least like to find her some cupcakes or a small cake that she can eat. Any recs? TIA :)

Bittersweet Bakery in Burnsville, also The Wedge in Uptown has a pretty big variety of gluten-free desserts that are REALLY good!

Sweet Retreat in Edina makes INCREDIBLE gluten-free cupcakes.  Both my dad and my sister are gluten free, so I've used them a lot.

If you dont' want to purchase you can make them with gluten free flour, I have a coworker that is gluten free and she has a couple great recipes she uses. I can ask her if you are interested.

Thanks ladies, I knew I could count on you :)  I would love the recipes Shan, if I don't use them I'm sure my friend would appreciate them - thanks!

Mad Woman Bakery is also gluten-free.  They're in one of the suburbs, but I forget which one.
