Officiant Recommendations?

I'm looking for an officiant.  FI wants a guy (who knows...) to do the ceremony.  Do you all have any recommendations?  I found one guy but he's asking $400 and that seems a bit hefty...

    Contact Uniting Hearts. They do have a male officiant on staff. $400 does sound high to me, too.

    Also, friends of ours used Rev. Naida and he did a nice job:

    Hello! I'm using Bob Javorsky from Our Wedding Officiant: http://www.ourweddingofficiant.com/ He's great and they also have a few more officiants they work with. His cost is $250.

    hmm that's interest because bob j. was the one that sent me a price sheet of $300 for the actual wedding and $100 if i wanted him to come to the rehearsal dinner.  so, bforristell, you must have gotten a deal?

    It does depend on where your wedding location is  in relation to the officiate (travel = more $) and if you need him or her at the rehearsal or not. For both the ceremony and rehearsal, that sounds like a reasonable price tag for someone travelling to an offsite location vs.  say a home church or something.  If that was an onsite pastor at their own church, then that would be a different cost.   Rev.     the officiant were using is in Canton and he only charges 100.00 for both the rehersal and ceremony
