What was the last thing you read that you enjoyed?

I just finished reading Chocolat a couple of days ago. I loooove the movie, but I'd never read the book before. It's really sweet and, surprise, surprise, better than the movie.

I feel like the odd duck...I don't read anymore.  I think maybe out of sheer fatigue?  Any spare time I've had goes in front of the TV while I slowly fall asleep.  After this darn AHR, I hope to reclaim my life!  WOOT.  I bought FI a Kindle last year...guess I should buy a book for myself too.

I'm with Tanq.  For me it started while i was in university..reading all those text books changed my desire to read in general.  Sad to say but magazines are about all i can do...and of course for the past 2 years they are all wedding related. J. ;-)

I'm currently reading "In Pursuit of the Common Good" by Paul Newman and A.E. Hotchner. I LOVE it! I am becoming such a big fan of Paul Newman because he sounded like such an amazing, generous person. And big points because this book makes my mouth water! (I love their salsa line).

The other good book I just finished was... "In-N-Out Burger: A Behind-the-Counter Look at the Fast-Food Chain That Breaks All the Rules" by Stacy Perman. This book made me soooo incredibly hungry! And I loved the story behind my favorite place to eat. Great great book.

I have been sucking at reading lately, but I really loved 'Water for Elephants' and 'The Help' last spring.  Reese Witherspoon and Robert Pattinson did the movie for 'Water for Elephants', I can't wait till it comes out!
