Sunol Valley Golf Club?

Has anyone got married here?  We have an appointment to visit in a couple weeks and from the pictures and well as the price, I think the location looks like a very possible contender.  If you could share any experience you've had there, that would be awesome.

    I'm not having my wedding there, but when we were looking we also viewed it as a real possibility.  We chose Sequoyah Country Club instead - but i would definitely check Sunol out.  I've heard really good things about them!

    i toured it woth my fiance and really did not care for it. The rooms were okay - but for anything pver 50 people it was kinda crammed and the minimums to meet were kinda high for the quality of rooms. The larger room - Mission room i think was divided by a sliding wall - so not the look i wanted. The outside terrace was rather small and no pictures could be taken on the course anywhere , just down below near the street.

    They do include several things , but the prices were just kinda high for the quality i felt. The coordinator i met with seemed very disorganized as well. Her office and desk was a mess..not a good impression. Floor length table linens were an extra 17.00 per table  , vendor meals were the full price , and we could only have 1 main dish for tasting , extras were all full price.  Also the rooms had just been used the night before and the clean up was in progress - as if we were an after thought - i didn't feel like we mattered at all.

    They also charge extra for any outside service you bring in. The only really good thing is if it rains you can have the ceremony inside as well , but that wasnt  enough to impress me. We went with Poppyridge in Livermore and could not be happier. Definitely worth checking out.

    Ok, we just visited the venue and I have to say we loved it!!!  I think this is it!!!

    My fiance and I checked this venue out this past weekend and we loved it. The Pavillion room has a beautiful view of the course and looks like it will be the perfect size for our reception. I think we are going to put our deposit down this week.
