 invited my friend and her boyfriend to the wedding. I never met him,  however our budget is getting kind of tight, so he may not be invited how do I tell her this invited my friend and her boyfriend to the wedding. My wedding is 9/1/2012 i invited him in the begining because we were having having a big party but plans have changed and we are having a more formal sit down dinner. My fiance and I are mving soon after the wedding.

    Like someone in Budget or E said, you profile says you have like 171 days until your wedding. That is plenty of time to save an extra $50 for a meal. If it's not, then you need to cut back on something else like your favors.
    We had a tiny budget and couldn't invite everyone we wanted to, but everyone that was told they were going to be invited was invited regardless.

    What does moving away have to do with this? You shouldn't be rude to people even if you are never going to see them again.

    Skip the centerpieces or favors, change the menu, or do your own hair, makeup, nails to find the money in your budget for your guests.

    Well, if you're moving and you'll never see them again, then honestly, if you want to not invite them, whatever.

    I mean, it would be rude, and it would piss them off, but it doesn't seem like you care.  So if you don't care and you want to end the friendship, have at it!

    Why does it matter if you've never met him? It appears that he was more than welcome when you were having a big party, so why would that change now? Because he will cost more? Effing rude. Suck it up, cupcake. Thats what you get for changing d!cks in the middle of the screw.

    As someone who's been in the postion of not having their SO invited to a friend's wedding, I can tell you it sucks.  It won't make your friend feel good and it certainly won't make your friend's SO feel good.  Inviting him is not only correct in regards to etiquette, but also common courtesy.
