Entertainment at wedding

Hi All,
Hope you are all having a fabulous New year! We are thinking of having some sort of entertainment brought in for our wedding at the JW Marriott Ihilani as a surprise and just to spice up the evening. I was thinking either fire dancers, hula dancers, or lion dancers. Does any one have any recommendations of who they have used and approximately what kind of price I'm looking at? I would be looking to just have them come in for about 1/2 hour to do a short show for the guests.

Any advice/recommendations would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Alicia

  • I thought about hula/fire dancers too, but we actually saw that a lot while in Hawaii at a luau, the mall, and the Waikiki street fair that was going on while we were there.

I went with Gee Yung Lion dance which was a little over 300.   My guests really enjoyed the performance.

I also did a studio style photobooth for entertainment by Shakabooth.  It was 800 and really fun.

You can see the lion dance in my highlight video: http://vimeo.com/52986897
