Sooo.. my ticker has dropped into the 8th month... Happy.. But also realizing how fast the time is going..

Some know..I am having surgery on nov 6th.. I will be on crutches and off work for a month.. so by the time I go back go back to work.. i will be in my 6th month..... Yeah...its like i am blinking and months are passing...lol..

Well I have definitely been "thinking and planning".. I think I need to finally DO.. what I am planning.. Im my head.. it's all planned and all the DIY projects..everything is complete..lol

But I do have to share... Most know my theme is the "ultimate tailgating".. in Vegas.. we're having an insuite reception... Well I have decided to have everything football.. That is the best theme I couldve come up with to fit both of our personalities... Sooo I wanted to come up with a really good wedding favor.. I finally came up with wine-stoppers.. What we are going to do is give every guest.. a wine stopper of their favorite NFL team.. here is the pic of one.. I have the next 8 months to get them all..

I am soooo excited about them... THEY ARE THE CUTEST THINGS!!!!

any suggestions my sistas can come up with relating to football... I am all ears.. There may be other decorations you may think of that I havent.. Im gonna keep my ideas to myself so it doesnt sway you any particular way...

Hey! How was your weekend? Football favors are going to be pretty hard. You could do feather boa's with their team colors, football cards with stats of years together, life accomplishments, etc.. with either you and your husband picture, or the wedding party picture as team " The last name". i'll have to think about it.....

I love these stoppers. Especially the EAGLES although they lost yesterday.
Time does fly by but enjoy every minute of it.

These are nice. Im liking the theme. I want to know too what kind of food you having. You are so right about the time flying by Im bout to hit the 7 month mark. These next 2 weeks im going to try and put some work into my diy projects..whew..pray for me lol

@fancy... thanks.. I have to check it out.. just checked it out.. and I already decided on the chocolate shaped footballs.. But no stadium cake for me.. and the jersey thing.. I am trying to work it in, but not by my dress or with what he is wearing.. I am going to have either a jersey or a football for everyone to sign and then put it in a souvenir box.

I want ideas.. but I also want unique ones that not everyone is doing.. you know.. maybe I will take my wine stoppers down.. lol
