My work BFF had her gallbladder out a few years ago. But she had stones. DH has no stones, but Dr. Google just told me that gallbladder trouble can manifest itself in stones or in bile backup.
He had most of the symptoms of a gallbladder attack and he just spent two weeks in China eating spicy food at every meal, then two weeks at home eating fast food almost every meal because I have been spending every evening at my volunteer job leaving him to get his own dinner. So super spicy + super fatty = too much stress on the gallbladder.
Ask away. Please bear in mind my opinion is tainted from the 2 previous abdominal surgeries and crappy post surgery instructions. The gas from the lap surgery has a tendency to migrate to the right shoulder and cause severe pain. Nobody told me this. I thought I was going to die the pain was so excruciating. DH was frantically calling/paging/texting my brother. I couldn't move and really thought it was a heart attack. We were seconds from calling the squad when the pain ended.
If someone had told me that life would have been much better.
