My fingers are still a little swolen from pregnancy so I haven't been able to wear my wedding and engagement rings. I tried them on Saturday and they fit. Yay! When I tried to take them off that evening though they wouldn't come off. I tried all the usual tricks and my fingers were just too swollen. I decided to wait it out and they still wouldn't come off Sunday evening. They started to hurt so I asked DH to cut them off. He comes in the room with all sorts of tools, including a power saw, regular saw and says, "We're going to need some towels for the mess." Apparently, all the color drained from my face. He was totally kidding and just cut them off with a pair of pliers. IIt was quick and painless. Also, it should be east to repair them when my finges get to their regular size. I
It's not nice to tease sleep deprived people.
