HELP- Tipping

Help!

I don't know what to tip our hair/makeup lady.

She owns the business and she's charging us a location change fee and a travel fee. All together, her services will be about $800.

I have read 20%, but that seems a little high considering how much we're already paying her and how much of a profit she's making.

I don't know but on other boards, I've heard that there is no need to tip vendors who own their own business.

I would agree with Theresa. My makeup lady is the boss at her makeup studio, so I'm already paying more to have her do our makeup than I would if it were one of her other girls doing it, so that sort of seems like it takes the place of a tip...?

If you feel bad but don't want to tip the full 20% (i think that's high too!), maybe just tip her 10% based on her fee minus the location and travel fee?
