Bride to Be Show Sunday

Is anyone else gone, or have you been to shows like this already? This is my first, and I'm pretty pumped up about it. I'm hoping to walk away with ideas and contacts for vendors. This one is in Sterling Heights.

I went to one last year. By the time I went, I had most of my vendors aside from cake and florist booked, and there weren't a ton of those vendors there, so it wasn't super helpful for me. There was like one florist and one baker. There were a ton of photographers/DJ/photobooths, so if it's at all like that, and you need those things, it might be helpful. Also some wedding jewelry purveyors, limo companies, and travel agents. For me, it was a good place to price compare.

My one caution is to go armed with a dummy e-mail address. You're going to have to give your e-mail, but it's going to me you're going to get a ton of spam. Also, I gave my phone number and that was a mistake. I wanted to give it so I could "win" prizes, but the only prizes I "won" came with strings...and it also meant I had random wedding vendors calling me fairly often. I'd also caution you that if you do win something, do some due diligence and check into how legit it is. Many things that I found came with strings.
