Pure Dorkiness....

Okay...so I'm a major dork....I didn't cry when we got engaged, I didn't cry when I found the dress...

BUT

I can't listen to Canon in D without tearing up (What I'm walking down the aisle to)...for the love of God please let me not bawl my makeup off before I even get to the end of the aisle

Has anyone else had dorky wedding moments while you've been planning/at your wedding?

Oh man, I feel like I'm a huge wedding dork! Not to worry. Our recessional is "All You Need Is Love" by the Beatles and I get all weepy/happy whenever I hear it now.

And... the worst thing... buttons! I LOVE buttons. Like, the old fashioned Victorian kind you see on wedding dresses? My dress didn't have buttons. But when I found out we could affordably add them... I had them put buttons all the way to the tip of the train. I am SO EXCITED about that. Irrationally so. But it is oddly my favorite part of the whole wedding, aside from actually marrying FI. :)

I'm that way with "I'm Yours" by Jason Mraz because that was the song that was playing in the car right after FI proposed. I've heard the song a million times but I'd never really LISTENED to it. I also get all teary-eyed at "Ordinary People" by John Legend because my FI built part of the lyrics into his proposal. (He has sang that specific song to me hundreds of times so it has a HUGE significance to us.)
