To all you DIY ladies-what fonts have you been using for your invites and monograms? I need a script font and block type font as I'm getting ready to start designing my invites. I've been toying with the idea of making a monogram as well. Thanks!

Scriptina is also very nice, too. You can also download Scriptina Alternates in case your names have double letters in it. (Since it's so fancy, the 'tails' of some letters adds unwanted space).
Both mine aren't free fonts: Burgues Script for names and Granjon ITC for text.
Definitely look at DaFont.com for other inspiration. Also a tip, if you come across a font on a blog or website, it doesn't hurt to email them and ask. I actually did that on several sites. There was a photographer whose name on the banner was fabulous and I emailed her. She unfortunately didn't know, but I was able to figure it out. I actually posted to SMP and asked her what her non-script font was in her logo since my script font was very similar and she directed me to Granjon. (Whether it's the same as hers or not wasn't important, the aesthetic was what I wanted and she nailed it!)
One of my favorite free fancy fonts that I almost used before I came across Burgues and died with love is Mutlu Ornamental.

We love Little Lord Fontleroy but now I see it all over the place. Riesling is much rarer.
"Parisian" and "Champagne & Limousines" are our text fonts.
sarack brought her invites to the last GTG and her font was a nice one too.
