DC Knottie Review

Hello Knotties!  It's been a while since I posted on the boards here but there used to be a website called DC Knottie review where the local DC brides posted the vendor reviews.  I've tried the link I had but it's not working.  Does anyone know if it has been moved somewhere?

    Hmm ... I am not familiar with it.  OR, maybe it was functional for just a little while when I began posting.  For some reason, I have a vague recollection that it didn't work.  HTH!

    I haven't heard of them, but if you're looking for that type of thing check out www.weddingwire.com, they have vendor reviews.

    I Know what you are talking about but for some reason I cant find the link.. maybe the moderator has seen it.. it had great listings for everyones reviews and weddings..

    Yeah, unfortunately we lost our MOD quite a while back.  I volunteered, but was told to ask again after posting more.  Ha!

    I remember seeing this when my sister was planning her wedding a couple years ago. It was OK....but I think the reviews you can find on Weddingwire are much better and cover more vendors.

    The knottie who was maintaining it was married quite a while ago and posted here sometime a year or so ago saying that she didn't want to pay to renew the domain again and asked for volunteers to keep it up.  No one volunteered, so as far as I know it's dead.

    But I agree that wedding wire has just as good of reviews as the DC review had.

    However, you can go to archive.org and plug in an old website to see if they have a record of it.

    They do: http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://www.dcknottiereview.com/

    it was last updated in 2008.  I'm not sure you want the info, since it wouldn't be current.
