Rehearsal Dinner

I am starting to look for places to have the rehearsal dinner, but I want to keep it simple and inexpensive... any ideas?  I live in the Palmetto bay/ Pinecrest area.

I do not know if this is an option for you but maybe you should look into having a backyard rehearsal dinner. I am doing a Spanish theme rehearsal and hiring paella caterers to come and cook for us. It is going to be very inexpensive. I would also try Perricone's Marketplace it is in the Brickell area which may be a bit far for you but the food is AMAZING and their catering menu prices are pretty fair for the amount of food and quality that you get. It is also a beautiful place! HTH!

Would you consider the Coral Gables area?  I'm doing it at El Novillo, and they have a great party plan, plus the food is delicious!

I agree with Dolores but you can call me Lolita and Perricone's also.  Both Beautiful, well-priced and delicious food.

There's also Rincon Argentino and La Portena which are nice too.  Specifically in Pinecrest, I would definitely recommend a house RD.  There's also a french bistro in the shopping venter where the Marshall's is on 136 st.  It's really yummy and Daniel (the owner) should be able to work with you on prices. There's so many good restaurants int he area and in the Gables... Oh one more, try Villagio in Merrick Park - they have really good prices for the area!
    HTH!

I'm doing a backyard RD. We wanted something extremely budget friendly, yet fun so we decided on that.
Since our Rehearsals after the day after Cinco De Mayo, we're having a "Seis (sixth) De Mayo Fiesta" and having all mexican dishes and items.

I think anything backyard and very homey would be great for your pockets and would have a nice relaxed feel for you and your guests. GL :)
