I have a FI who can't smile

I bet this is a new one. My FI can't smile on command. If you make him laugh, he can smile, but line him up for a photo and and ask him to say cheese and he comes out looking like a deer in headlights with his mouth hanging open. Any suggestions? I don't think I have the ability to make him laugh all day. I'm no Roseanne Barr. :).

It's a minor problem....one we laugh about, but I want him to show everyone the straightest set of teeth any man could ever hope for....and look good on his special day too. :)

    Maybe pinch his bum right before the photographer takes the photo?

    I know that makes my man laugh, But also makes him squirm too... SO maybe not SUCH a great idea...

    I dunno Get one of the grooms men or friend to do something really silly before hand.

    If you can find a photographer that helps create a relaxing atmosphere that would help. Have your photographer joke around and you can help too and joke around or tickle him! Even though it sounds silly, as soon as things start to calm down and the photographer is ready, he or she can probably get a few smiles here and there. Best of luck!

    Haha I love this. I have a similar problem - my FI has a "real smile" and a "fake smile". He only uses his "real smile" in pictures when he's laughing or excited, otherwise he has this strange, half smile when he's forced to take pictures.

    Hopefully it won't be a big issue for your more candid shots when you're talking and laughing together. But I agree with PP about pinching or making him laugh during formal shots. :)
