when to print invitations?

I'm itching to print (not mail) my invitations out but the wedding isn't for 7 months. Am I jumping the gun?

    I'm getting married 9/21 and I printed mine... I used VistaPrint and I had a Groupon...so why not?  I have the venues and times set so now I have time to stuff them and address them...but those I've addressed are the ones I'm POSITIVE will be there.  Meaning I haven't done any elderly family members (who sadly might not be there!), couples who may split up (ahh, such a pessimist I am!), or people who I was on the fence about inviting anyway. :)  I've already removed/added people to my invite list in the last couple months already...so addressing is something you should definitely hold off on until a little closer.

    I would wait. We ended up having to change our wedding venue 5 months before the wedding. 
    What did you think would happen if you walked up to a group of internet strangers and told them to get shoehorned by their lady doc?~StageManager14
