  Take a look at Robert Wayne Photography.  I love his photographic style and think he's priced right.
  
  They're based out of NJ, but one of the weddings he showed us was done at the Poughkeepsie Grand.

  he is right around the corner from you and is priced amazingly well!
  (We used to live in poughkeepsie and I worked at Marist)
  
  he attended our wedding as a guest (we didn't want to hire him because we wanted him to have fun) and almost ALL of our framed wedding pics are HIS!!!
  My cousin wishes she would have hired him INSTEAD of her photog in CT that she paid a BUNDLE for because his pics were 10x's better and basically used his for a shutterfly table book that she has on display over the one she paid a HUGE bundle for..(she too just wanted him to be a GUEST)

  he photographs a TON of things (his brother-in-law is a semi pro snowboarder and he has some AMAZING stuff of him too) but doesn't put everything up on his website...why... I DUNNO!!!!
