Hi Knotties, I'm a former knottie (got married Sept 2006) but I'm in the middle of planning a 5 year anniversary reception for DH & me!
Last summer I had booked a hall and a couple of days ago, I got a call saying that the hall got sold and they are mailing me back my deposit. But now I have no reception location! HELP! I'm on a tight budget (of course) and the next potential place I am thinking of is the Centennial College Residence and Conference Centre on Progress Ave in Scarborough. Can anyone give me any details on it? Have you been to a wedding/event there? Or maybe someone can help me find a reasonably priced reception hall (no golf courses) in the Scarborough/Pickering/Ajax area.
