DJ and music help

Hello everyone! I am getting married July 24, 2010 in Plano and I am on the search for a great DJ. If anyone knows of someone, please let me know! Also, I want string musicians for the ceremony. If anyone has any suggestions for ceremony musicians, let me know as well! Thank you!

I went the Ipod route which worked out for my wedding but my husband and I have a friend that Mc'd the reception.

My photographer recommended i-entertainment, Randal Stout Entertainment or Speciality Sound

I used Glenn Roush as my DJ and I absolutely loved him. I recommend him as often as I can.

Specialty Sound is great but definitely on the high end pricewise.

I used Four Strings out of Denton for my ceremony music and was very pleased.

A friend of mine used M J Entertainment...www.mjparty.com (i think thats the correct site)...you could probably google them...she got them at a good price with uplights...I will probably use them.

I found the musicians for my daughter's wedding at gigmasters.com. They have reviews of the musicians and then you can request quotes from the ones that sound interesting. I was able to find a really great price on the pianist we used and now I have found a DJ for my next daughters wedding. ( The pianist was amazing even though he was one of the least expensive.)
