Help! I have no idea what to get my fiance as a wedding gift. HAve thought about Yankee season tickets. How much do you spend? Need ideas? :)

You spend whatever you can/want.  Some girls on here spend a lot while other girls forgo gifts to the groom altogether and just write a heartfelt note.

I'm giving my FI a B-Pic album the night before our wedding and the morning of our wedding I'm giving him a card and a pair of locket cufflinks that are engraved with his first initial... inside are pictures of his grandparents who have all passed away, but who he was very close to and who practically raised him.  That way he'll have them nearby on our wedding day.

Also, if FI's father can't make it to the U.S. from Spain, I've arranged with our DJ to have him set up a large screen to play a pre-recorded videotaped toast/message from FI's dad during the rest of the wedding toasts.  That way FI can see his dad on our wedding day.

Other gift ideas include regular cufflinks, a nice watch, or something that appeals to his interests (sporting event/concert tickets, video game console, guitar, and other things like that).

    What are his hobbies?

Budget can be anything from nothing, 50 bucks, to a few thousand.  Discuss this with FI so that you are both on the same page as to the caliber of gift.

my fiancee never even knew about gift giving the day of the wedding until I told him about it....

I did a little bag with gifts that I gave my brother to give to him when they were getting ready. On each gift I attached a little note.  I also included a letter telling him how excited I was to be marrying him. The gifts were:

    - a pair of socks so you don't get cold feet
-a shot to calm your nerves
-a watch so you make it to the church on time

I'm going to get a pair of really good phillies tickets, ones we normally wouldn't get.  I'm too broke for season tickets lol

We wanted to keep it simple.  We're also looking to furnish our home.  So his gift is that I'm gave in and am getting him a recliner that he very much wanted.

Personally I don't *get* exchanging gifts on the day of the wedding. You're already exchanging rings. I could see a thoughtful card while you're getting ready, but what more could you ask for than the big party and the rest of your lives together?
