We're planning a Vegas wedding in May 2013 that won't be a typical "Vegas" wedding- no Elvis or over-the-top bling- it will be at a Botanical Gardens/Springs preserve off the strip. Quick outdoor ceremony, with a heavy hors d'vouvres and cocktail reception on sight, colors are navy and fuschia/hot pink. Ambiance will be slightly more relaxed, with groom/BM wearing tan pants/vests, white button downs, and navy/fuschia ties. I only have my sister standing up with me, wearing a navy cocktail dress.
Our budget is very tight- planning on hot pink flowers for me, fiance, and attendants. Not sure if they'll be real or fake flowers yet-- mostly because the chance of keeping my bouquet is so slim with the destination. Thoughts?
Is there another way to have parents stand out without flowers? I'm thinking dads in tan pants, white button ups and navy ties, with or without flowers, but what can we do for moms??
