Getting in Shape

if only we can speed things up...

i joined a gym near my house about 3 weeks ago.  i've been going at least 3 times per week and doing what the trainer told me but i feel like i'm not losing weight or inches.  FI says he notices but don't you just wish you could make the weight fall off quicker? lol

Re: if only we can speed things up...

  • lol it would be nice, but then again the sense of acomplishment you get would be lost!

Are you tracking your progress? I didnt want to take a before photo and measurements, but it really helped me see the progress I was making.
Also, I had a pair of size 10 shorts I would try on once a week. Each time I noticed they were closer and closer to fitting and now they fit comfortably! Next goal is a Medium workout shirt.
    Keep up the good work!

I do something similar as a goal marker!  one year ago (almost exactly) I was a size 14.....two weeks ago i bought a skirt size 10....a medium sized top is totally my next goal (I carry all my weight in my tummy) everyday that we go to the gym even when we dont want to it puts us closer to the goals!  Congrats to you for meeting one of them!!

<div>How are you eating?  You don't make mention of what your diet is and that is the most important factor in weight loss.  Exercise is great but a healthy diet is how to make the weight come off.  So how many calories a day are you eating vs the amount burned through exercise?</div>
