My FI and I had bought disney annual passes earlier this year, so when he suggested going to Disney to see cinderellas castle light up for christmas, I thought nothing of it. The week before we went I recieved a letter in the mail from "Disney" saying that we had won a free dinner in cinderellas castle. I completely believed the letter when I heard my FI making the reservations on the phone. Little did I know he had the letter printed by a friend on disney stationary and when he was making the reservation he was really talking to that friend and not disney. SO, after a long day at disney we went into the castle for dinner. At the end of dinner the waiter brought over a beautiful platter which I assumed was the dessert platter. When he opened it, I saw my ring in a glass slipper surrounded by rose petals. I almost immediately started crying, I have never been so surprised and happy in all my life. I was in shock for the rest of the night, which ended in a beautiful fireworks show. I really felt like a princess:) Just wanted to share my story!
