We're doing a floral topper with coffee break roses and gems. It's really pretty - we couldn't find any intercultural figurines so we completely nixed it.

We haven't had any luck with that, so we're using an acrylic heart topper that you insert a photo into with our names engraved. So, it will be interracial- a photo of us! Best we could do!

We looked at the cake toppers that littleluckypenny recommended but they were too traditional for us.We're very outside the box. So, my FI is going to try to make a robot (he loves robots) in a top hat and a t-rex (I love dinosaurs) with curly hair, glasses, and a veil out of sculpey. We'll see how it works. You ladies have come up with some really awesome sounding toppers. I wish there were more options out there. I feel like there's probably a huge market for funky/funny toppers for interracial couples and it's only going to get bigger.
I don't kow if we'll do a cake topperyet, but if we do I'm planing on making it myself. When I was younger I used to love sculpting small figurines out of Sculpty... never really did people, more like cats and frogs and stuff but I think I could do Ryan and I. Even if they don't turn out perfect they'd still probably look more like us than anything we could buy.

We are struggling to find an inter-racial bride and groom cake topper that really represents us as a couple so we're thinking of doing bobbleheads of us instead. They are definitely unique and catch a more life like resemblance. Its not something you see at every wedding which is something we both really like:) n Response to Cake Toppers: [QUOTE]Are any of you ladies (or gents) doing cake toppers? We'll probably have a claddagh cake topper, or something else Irish-ish, or something done in silver... you know, something we can display at home afterwards. I don't think we'll get a human figurine cake topper... but it's early in the process, so you never know!

There's so many cute toppers on etsy, including customizable ones if you wanted to have the bride and the groom represent both ethnicities.
