Accountability - Monday

How was everyone's weekend? I TOTALLY cheated, so I plan on upping the workout this week and trying to make up for it... BUT according to the scale this morning I'm down 3lbs from last week...

Any big plans for today? Anyone have any week goals this week?

  • TOTALLY cheated this weekend due to super bowl. I didn't even want to weigh myself this morning so I'm waiting until tomorrow so I can de-bloat. 

    If I want to get below 130 this month I'm going to need to be really good. FI is taking me to a fancy steakhouse for valentines, I'm going to a brunch buffet in a week, and I have my tasting this month so I need to really budget diet-wise for these.

    I have been tossing around the idea, but what I have decided is I am going to pre register for Tough Mudder in 2013. That will give me the push I need to get my butt in gear :) Just feeling it out with friends to find out who might be interested... maybe a few of the army guys? Most of my friends just think I'm nuts lol but I need a team... hahaha

    I'm embarrassed how much I ate last night at my super bowl party! LOL Oh well... it's been the only cheat for the week.

    Anyone have fiance's that are losing weight with them? It's really irritating because in the month or so it's taken me to lose 4 lbs (with light-moderate exercise), fiance has lost 10 lbs (with no exercise). MEN!

    I started the supreme 90 day workout yesterday (generic p90x). It was a tough work out. First day was back and chest and I definitely feel it today. Today the exercise is based on the stability ball so we will see how it goes. I started exercising because I went about 140 and I knew I had to do something. I am finally back down to 140 but my goal is to get to 130 I think. I would be happy with just toning out the jigglies lol.

  • I've always wanted to do a Tough Mudder!  I was planning on training for the one this summer but realized I didn't want to risk any injury that close to the wedding.  

    Friday I lifted weights at the gym.  Saturday I ran just shy of 7 miles and Sunday was my off day.  I ate more than I should have but overall it wasn't that bad.  My Superbowl food mainly consisted of tortillas with salsa, guac, and a bean salsas for dipping.  FI and I brought fresh cut veggies with a dill dip.  There was also baked chicken wings in a light BBQ sauce.  Lastly lasagna!  BUT it was veggie:  made from everything from carrots, corn and celery to sweet potatoes.  It was yummy and not as bad as regular lasagna so  I think I did OK. :)
  • Oh I definitely didn't do good yesterday. I do a crazy high intensity bootcamp workout, but still ate like crap and so while I was losing weight it wasn't much. I finally sucked it up and started WW (did it MANY years ago). I've lost 5 pounds so far, but gained .4 last week. I've really got to kick it into gear and get back on track. Eating so much crap the past couple of days isn't going to help things either!

    RE: Tough Mudder - I actually did a Warrior Dash, and it was fun but not that hard (only 3 miles). I planned on doing Tough Mudder the weekend after my wedding. Unfortunately, they moved it up 4 weeks and I just can't risk doing it 3 weeks before my wedding. :( I'm really bummed, as a bunch of my workout buddies are all doing it.
  • we didn't go to the gym yesterday, but we were strapped for time. we decided to redo our office this weekend, so we painted yesterday instead. i ate alot during the superbowl but it really wasn't all that bad. i had a salad and a veggie wrap, and some drinks. i was busy looking through Dan's baby pictures to really eat too much.

    back to the gym tonight though!

  • I cheated on Sunday.  I can walk normally now, so my workouts can start up again.  I was in a lot of pain last week from doing killer butt and thighs.

    My braces are being put on Thursday, so I'll be sticking to plan a lot better.

    lbarr088 & Starfish0116 - That's why I'm planning on 2013, the 2012 one in my area is only a few weeks before the wedding and I'm just not willing to take that chance lol
