Food/Location Help

Hey ladies i'm getting married on Oct 15, 2011 in either Tampa or Orlando. I'm looking for locations with reasonable prices and great food. My main concern is food right now, because i love to eat and want fantastic food at my wedding. Restraurant food can be hit or miss so please help me out. If you know of any good locations in either towns please let me know.

Just to give u a taste of what i like my favorite restuarant is Lornhorn Steakhouse (Flo's Filet- umm umm good), Olive Garden (garlic mussels!!)  and I love Mama Nems (soul foodd) in Orlando.

    How many people does your location have to accommodate, and does it have to be an indoor venue or outside? Once you give us a little more to go on I know the women on this site can totally give you some great options.

    No more than 75 people. The cermony can be indoor or outdoor but the reception has to be inside!

    What do you consider to be reasonable prices?  Weddings have a huge markup as it is so you would need to find your venue to determine whether you can bring in outside food.

    Check out the Doubletree Resort on International Drive.  It used to be the International Plaza Resort and Spa.  Talk to Mike Ikemeier in catering.  There is a balconey overlooking the waterfall pool that is beautiful.  I had my ceremony on the deck with a fountain behind the officiant and me and my hubby.  Beautiful!  the food was great!  Chicken and Salmon were my choices for plated dinner.  Everyone talked about how the food was wonderful!

    Congrats Foxxy! We're also shooting for under 75 and we booked The Royal Crest Room in St. Cloud, about 40 minutes from Orlando for our 10/22/11 wedding. It has a beautiful outdoor ceremony area and a ballroom for the reception. It really depends on your budget but we thought the place was fairly reasonable for being as beautiful as it is. We haven't had our tasting yet but a friend of mine got married there a few months ago and said the food was great. I agree with the other ladies though that a little more info would help us help you better because there are 100s of places we could recommend.
