hi ladies, im just beginning my search for hair and makeup. dont want to spend a lot, prob just for my mom sis and me. i dont know how much a lot is because im not really sure how pricing works.  i would prefer someone to come to the hotel in tarrytown where i will be getting ready so someone in mid-lower westchester would be best.
how much is this stuff supposed to cost? when should i set up trials (wedding in november) and what is expensive????

    I used john from the john anthony salon. He owns is own salon and would travel depending on the day and time.  Amazing, Amazing hair stylist!!  He charge me about $150, seems like the going rate after doing my research.  He has been featured in magazines and was on whose wedding is it anyway!

    I kept on reading steller recommendations on theknot and other wedding sites about christine from color makeup studio.  Everyone was right she did an amazing job.  She was the most affordable and after many trials with other artist christine was the one I liked the best - go figure.  She charged around $100 for airbrush (i can't remember the exact amount).

    We used Christine from Color Makeup Studio and everyone was super happy with her - she's fabulous!

    For hair, I used Mandy from LaSorellabridal.com - she was slightly pricey, but my hair was perfect and stayed in place from 11am until after midnight. She was also on an episode of Who's Wedding is it Anyway.

    I am using Angela from Touch of Style salon in Pearl River. My trial went very well. She isn't super pricey like other salons. She told me my hair would be about $65 the day of! My MUA is Jill from JKFlashy.com ....she is pure awesomeness and I love her. She is pricey but worth it. Her trial is free.
