    Hello :)  I've been lurking for a while too...  Got engaged in January of this year.  Getting married on 11/13/10 which is FIVE WEEKS from Saturday, eek!

    no, we did get together in june, once, and it was lots of fun-however we did bring FIs, so maybe this time, just us girls???

    ok, you got me!  Got engaged on 8/31 - don't have a date set, though I am leaning towards September of next year.  Just figured out my colors (Red & purple).. and well, that's about it.  Only lived in Colorado for 5 months, ... so I have no idea where or who...

    Oh, thank you for responding... and for asking questions. I don't want to seem completely desperate.. but I don't really have wedding planning support around here.
    While I'm not "from there" because I've lived a bunch of places.. we moved from San Diego to here so I could take a promotion.  I am NOT an outdoorsy gal, so definately want an indoors venue. (though I appreciate outdoors for pictures, if that makes sense).
    As for the ever tricky budget question... well, I'm not quite ready to answer that, I've been pricing things so that I could figure out what I can expect.   Probably  doing that backwards, huh?

    no i think that works okay

    there are some beautiful all inclusive, indoors venues

    i'm not outdoorsy either and i've lived here my whole life :-)

    That's about how I've been doing budgeting.  From what I can tell, 10,000 seems like a reasonable amount to spend on a low budget wedding of the size I'm having, but I'm so in the beginning of planning.  Maybe there's a cheaper way?

    If you are looking to do things on a budget, it is possible around here!  I'm looking at about $5K for around 100 guests.  My venue is outdoors/indoors, but they do have an option for indoors only... Let me know if you'd like information!

    HI!  I've been on the site for about 1 month but just started looking on the message boards. Planning a mid September wedding next year, wishing there was more information for gay freindly vendors in the area but so far all of the suggestions have been really helpful!

    I'm trying to stay on the up and up on these boards but you know how life gets in the way! 

      I'd love to meet some of you! I get very intimidated normally around other brides so, what better way to get over that than by making you all real. And seeing how nice you all are, I'm sure.
