Albany Wedding Ideas

Hi,
I am recently engaged and trying to plan a wedding in Capital Region for next June.  My fiance is in the military and our window is kind of tight on dates we can do this.  Any ideas of places we could go 6/30-7/7 2012.  We understand that is peak season and lots of places are booked already.  Any help would be great.

    If you don't insist on a saturday its a lot easier to find venues and other vendors. My wedding is on a sunday and though I booked the venue early they seemed to think I could have waited a few months and still gotten my date. I went with Franklin Plaza, in Troy, and they have been great so far. So thats something to consider. We are also getting some major discounts from everyone because they wouldn't normally be booked on a sunday!

    I found a lot of things on www.albanyweddings.com. They have a lot more options listed than on here.  I went with 11 North Pearl in Albany and they have been fantastic to work with.
