Private beach beds secrets maroma?

Do you have to rent the private beds or are they included in your package? What else do you have to rent sperately?

    Yes you have to rent them. When I was there in May of last year, they were $30 for the day, which I thought was well worth it.

    oh ok, i thought they were $40 a day. even better!!

    What all is included on the bed? im kinda confused by this whole AI thing. Do they serve you food at your private bed? I saw pics online where it looked like some people had room service to their beach bed.

    The price MAY have gone up since then, I am not positive on that. That was just the price it was while we were there last year. It includes the bed all day as well as a butler who will bring your food and drinks to you. All you pay is the fee for rental as well as whatever tip you choose to give your butler at the end of the day.

    AI at Secrets Maroma includes all food and drinks. The only drinks you will pay for is if you want to upgrade your wine or something, which we never saw the need to do. We ordered room service every morning and ate breakfast on the balcony (this is included). Also, you dont have to order things that are just listed on the room service menu. For instance, if waffles arent listed, when you call to order, just let them know thats what you want and they will bring it.

    You also have a mini fridge in your room full of beer, juice, pop, and water, This is all included. If you want all beer and no pop, just tell your concierge and they will keep it full of whatever you want.

    Maroma is absolutely wonderful. DH and I have traveled alot and we have honesly never been to a place as great as this one. Have fun, and if you have more ?'s let me know :)

    I was just there at the end of october.. they are $40! but in my opinion... still worth it!  The waiters do everything in their power to make sure you are taken care of!  You can order food from any of the restuarants and they will bring it to you! I highly recommend doing it one day! But you may want to book it a few days in advance!

    thanks ladies! We booked there a couple months ago for April, HM was FI's duty, and i didnt know too much about everything. Glad to know there are no hidden costs and everything is included like they say. i have no problem paying $40 for a day!

    It's awesome; you'll love it!

    in addition to the advice above, if there's anything you want to do: massage/spa, excursions, moonlight beach dinner, beds on beach, habachi grill...I recommend booking for whichever day you want it on the day you arrive.  A lot of the extra fill up fast so it's best to book upon your arrival
