I saw on Weigh-In Wednesday that you were talking about the P90X diet. DH and I just ordered ours yesterday. Could you maybe tell me how you like the diet plan and such? We just ordered the basic package, with the work out videos. Any advice would be wonderous. Laughing

    I've done a few videos, but since I live in an apartment on the 3rd floor its kind of hard for me to jump around without making noise in the apartment below. So I just take an aerobic class everyday at LA Fitness. As for the food plan its a great guide. I don't follow it exactly because it has food such as eggs that I do not like. Overall I follow it pretty closely and just adjust some meals if they include foods I don't like. I eat 5 small little meals though out the day like they advise and only  from the food groups that are allowed for the Phase I am currently in.

    Melissa, I'm in an apartment as well so I was wondering how it'd work with all the jumping and such. I'm excited about the meal plan...I need structure to my eating =) Are you using the pull up bar? I was wondering how that would do in an apartment...I don't want to knick the doorway.

    I never tried the pull up bar at my apartment. I do all the working out part at the gym. I wasn't getting enough of a workout at home since I was so paranoid about making too much noice. As long as you do an hour of cardio 4 to 5 days a week and stick to the meal plan the weight will come off. If I was heavier and had more pounds to drop from the start I probably would have dropped more than the 12.50 pounds I've lost in the past 60 days. I am very satified with the program, my weight has dropped and I look toned. Don't get discouraged in the beginning I didn't start losing any weight until around week 4.

    I'm still doing the same thing! I finally took a day off last week to go change my name everywhere. At the SS office, she asked if I want to drop Crow completely and I got a little emotional thinking I wasn't a Crow anymore. Smile

    Thanks so much Melissa! I'm so excited to try this out. Everyone I've met that's done it has said they love the results. We had a membership to the gym, but weren't going so I'm hoping this will work out better. I'm much more comfortable working out in my own home. Plus, our apartment has a gym at the clubhouse...I really should take advantage of that!
