AW: My $8 wreath!

So I'm not in love with it, but this was a pretty cheap DIY that will go on our front door after Thanksgiving!

What do you ladies have going on tonight?

I really like the wreath! It's very simple but it looks like it'll do the trick. :) I just finished making some little fleece hats for my little brothers :) I'm such a fan of DIY projects! :D This is the hat...it's supposed to be from a show that they love to watch called Adventure Time. (it's on cartoon network I believe...)

I made chicken noodle soup (well its still cooking, but ya know), drinking wine, and watching Armageddon. H and I are cool that way.

My weekend was pretty good. Last night H and I just hung out at home. It's nice to spend some time together since he will be leaving for a training soon.

ETA: The wreath is awesome. Directions?

    Gg, here are my directions:

Buy a 12" foam wreath, a skein of white yarn and two of those little holiday plastic "bouquets" that are $0.69 at a craft store. Wrap yarn tightly (and carefully, this was a PITA at first) around wreath and knot securly. Trim fancy pick thingies, stick into foam at a jaunty angle. Hang. Laughing

I'm making mini thanksgiving--turkey cutlets, gravy and stuffing because I can't wait three weeks. And opening a bottle of wine.

Irish!! I think it's really cute!!

I'm totally slacking off and watching Harry Potter.  Christmas shopping was completely un-productive. I got H a book of Sudoku.  I wanted to get him a video game or something, but then I couldn't remember what games he has, and what he doesn't have.. or even what system he has. Ugh! He's my best friend, but he is sooo hard to buy for! He hates shirts with lots of writing on them, he like sports, but doesn't like shirts that are covered with logos and writing.  He likes MC stuff, but not all the time.. Ugh. I just can't win.

So now I'm super hyped up on this AMAZING coffee that I got at the book store (Coconut Mocha Frappe) soo many calories, but sooo good.  Oh! and I taught myself the rap parts of "Sky full of lighters".. ya know. For fun...?

I'm glad tomorrow is Monday so everyone will back!!!!

Very cute! We got a plain $5 wreath at Hobby Lobby and some fillers for it so our Christmas wreath was like $10

I love the wreath!  It is really very cute.

I had a great weekend with my mom and she just left this morning.  We planned Thanksgiving dinner and put together a couple of packages for H.  I was a little disappointed yesterday since I always have my computer on but for some reason did not yesterday mid afternoon.  Well H tried to do a surprise skype date but I was not on.  Boo.  By time I saw his facebook message that he could skype and tried to call he was already off to bed.  BOO!!!

Happy Monday and I hope everyone enjoyed the extra hour of sleep.  I know I did.
