Need help...baseball wedding

Hello ~ So my fiance and I are planning a baseball theme wedding for Sept. of this year. We just got engaged a few weeks ago and are very excited to be planning this wedding! We do have some ideas already but I would love more. I have been going crazy looking online for all sorts of ideas and I just thought I would ask any and everyone. If you can think of ANYTHING let me know. I am open to all ideas. Thanks so much!

Thing we are going to do:
-We are going to get married on a baseball field somewhere in our town
-Our colors are red, whit and blue
-The Bridesmaids are wearing red. My fh and I will be in white. The groomsmen will be in navy blue and wearing ball caps
-We want to use stars too
-The food is going to be hot dogs, popcorn, nachos, ect
-The ring bear will carry a glove not a pillow
-We are going to have a jersey out for everyone to sign
-We have a cake already in mind

i dunno if you saw the other baseball theme topic but this is what i wrote on the other one :

my wedding will not be full on baseball theme but my fiance and I have decided to put touches here and there. We will def be using the baseball rose buds as the previous post mentioned (search on google "baseball rose" and you will find it) as well as instead of candy favors we will be placing a baseball at each setting with the date of our wedding printed on it and our 'autographs'. My fiance is constantly wearing a baseball hat, the only time he will take it off is for a sit down dinner or bed, so he is getting one to match our colors and having embroidory that lids does for the date of our wedding. I will prolly have one made too, I don't wear them as much as he does but i do wear them.

you should def check out the baseballrose, i ordered one and my fiance is gonna see if he can make them himself by taking it apart.

My fiance and I are getting married at Coors field. Check to see if your local MLB park offers a ceremony option. We decided to use a home plate and baseballs for everyone to sign as our guest book. For favors we are getting small bags of sunflower seeds and dressing them up with ribbon. We are using baseball trading cards as you thank you's and announcements. Also there are several sites that make MLB garters. I picked my fiancés fav team and plan on surprising him. If you need any other ideas let me know.

My sister is actually having a baseball themed wedding. she's doing a lot of hte same things but at the reception were actually going to have a game bride side vs. groom side. I htink it will a lot of fun. the little flower girls and ring bearers are wearing their little t-ball uniforms (my sister is getting them little jerseys in her colors 2 wear that will say ring boy and flower girl they are having "baseball ticket" invites and the trading card thank you's. she got the groom a nice pair of cleets as a wedding gift. I love some of ur ideas some we never thought of. thanks a lot i'll have to have her read this.

My fh and i are also having a baseball wedding! We are getting married on homeplate at Turner Field (atlanta braves) We are doing a lot of the same ideas. We are having jersey for our guests to sign, our colors are red, blue and then white. we are having the bms in dark blue! are are having tickets for the std and then baseball invites!

We're getting married in a baseball stadium and want to incorporate baseball into the overall feel of the wedding and reception without turning it into a 12 year old boy's birthday party. We're planning a menu of upscale versions of ball park food and the invites will be tickets. Also considering Cracker Jacks as favors and/or using these mini-helmets as bowls for an ice cream sundae station ala old school Dairy Queen.

I just did a search on Ebay and haven't had any problem finding them. Also, if you do a Google seach for "Cracker Jack tin" and search the Shopping Results you can find them that way too. They're really reasonalbly priced, which is great!

How did you request the field for your ceremony? My city has a newly built Triple A stadium, so I don't think something like this has been requested to them yet.

I am doing a Cardinal baseball themed reception. We have mini Cardinal helmets (the helmets you can get ice cream in at the games) as favors. My MIL to be is making chocolate baseballs we are going to put under them. We are going to name the tables after favorite Cardinal players. I am trying to think of/create a Jersey template to make the table names on. I also have a Cardinals garter. My cousin had a card box she used at her reception. It is a box wrapped up with Cardinal paper so we are borrowing that for the card box. My BMs dresses are blue, not red. I was thinking of red but I have been in two weddings that were red already and my MOH has red hair so red isn't that great of color on her and my favorite color is blue so it worked out. Also our cake topper has a bride and groom with Cards hats on!! :-)

Hi Liz,
We got most of our paper goods from this ebay store. The invites needed to be strengthened by mounting on scrapbook paper, but everything else, including place cards, were great!
She has cute baseball graphics and her prices were really good too.

Not much info on a guest books, we used the Life is Good book. Ive seen people use photo books that they made, and you could put baseball pictures of just shots of you guys in it?

We are also having a St. Cardinal Wedding. Complete with the glove as the ring bearer pillow, a basball basket for the petals. We are using a cardinal flag as a guestbook so we can hang on the wall later. We have found 8' cardinal banner in which we will use as our banner. We also found a Cardinal vintage player flag that we are using as decorations. We even found Cardinal toasting glasses.

Hello ladies. My finance is a huge softball player and I love the game, I played in highschool and here and there now, and he propsed with a build a bear dressed in an A's outfit (we are huge A's fans!) so we are incorporating a little bit of baseball into our theme.. we are also doing a jersey for everyone to sign as a guestbook (and will get a shadow box to hang it later in our house) Here's what we did for our save the dates..

The front says "SAVE THE DATE NOV. 20,2010 (our names) Have decided to play on the same team for life! Please join us on our Opening Day: November 20, 2010. And then I labeled our wedding website.

The back says TEAM LA RUE Opening Day: November 20, 2010 Game Time: 3PM and Stadium: (used our church)

I think you should have the guest do the stomp stomp clap. you know the we will rock you thing they do at all games. also for ticket excort cards. i went to my handy dandy computer and made them. they look really proffesional. if your really good you can even alter peanut packs or cracker jack bags to have the b& G name on them. just use peel and stick paper. look up vistaprint.com or avery.com to get the paper. and the instuctions are real easy.

We are useing tall glass vases with about a inch of sand and then fill it to the top with small baseballs. We are also using other things to decorate the table as well. On another table we are using colored ice cream glasses filled with sand and one baseball in it. These are just a few of our ideas.

I'm from Guam and my fh and I love baseball so we are also doing a baseball themed wedding! We are still in the planning process right now, but I think I have everything planned! At first we wanted to do a dolphin themed wedding, because we love dolphins too, but I wanted everything to be unique!! We are getting married in church so I wanted our clothes to be not so baseball looking until the reception. The ringboy will have a pillow and on top of the pillow will be a glove has a clear (see through) round ball that will have our rings and our flower girls will have the round flower bouquets. Centerpieces are these huge clear vases that will have the mini bats in them and on top will be a all white roses round arrangement that will have the red linings to look like baseballs. Our favors will be little cupcake boxes that will say "Batter Up", Flavored Popcorn, etc. Our cake will be a 5 tier all white fondant round cake with red accents and baseballs on each tier on opposite sides. I hope everything goes as planned! I think this is where i say " I need David Tutera"
