program - when does signing of civil registry happen

i'm creating my program and am following this template:
http://catholicweddinghelp.com/topics/catholic-wedding-program-template-without-mass.htm

though it doesn't indicate when the signing of the civil registry happens. when would this happen during the ceremony?

When you get your marriage license

ETA: Guess it's been a while since I got married.  I thought the registry was at city hall.

I'll have to ask my exH what we signed downtown

I'm apparently stupid cause I have no idea what you're talking about. But if you're talking about your witnesses and stuff signing the certificate, that does not happen during a Catholic ceremony.

I think this one's a bit different in Canada, girls.

Jane, I know in Anglican ceremonies where there's still a registry, it happens at the very end, right before the recessional. Your contact at the church will know the answer, though.

Yes I'm from Canada and this is definitely part of the ceremony here. Maybe I'll check with my local board. My priest mentioned it but I just wasn't sure exactly where it came in the ceremony.

Oh, that makes more sense :). I'd just ask your priest to clarify.

I'd page mcdol13 or ringpop!  They're both on this board fairly frequently and I believe that they're both from Canada.

Also responded on Canada... it usually happens somewhere near the end. I've often seen it after the final blessing (so that it's outside of the actual Catholic ceremony) but my priest did it before the final blessing. Best to check with the priest.
