What do you have scheduled for this week?

Good morning! So many exciting things going on here!

FI and I decided to move back to Grand Haven, and our moving day is 2 weeks from today! Life could not be any crazier and I don't think I could be happier!

So here's what my crazy chaotic week looks like.

Monday: Ultrasound this morning (saw the baby's heartbeat and got a better estimate of how far along I am...need to update my ticker). Now I am working until 7, then home to pack with FI.

Tuesday: Work until 5, then packing.

Wednesday: Confirming times with all vendors, work 1-10.

Thursday: Go to Lansing super early, 9 am dress fitting, Noon nail appt, 3 p.m. hair appt, and 8 p.m. spray tan back in Rochester. Then I'll come home and hang out with FI and his best friend (BM).

Friday: Breakfast with my birth mother in the morning, then getting the marriage license to the church and dropping things off at the hotel. Rehearsal and RD, probably announcing our pregnancy to some family that night too

Saturday: oh no big deal... just getting Married!!!!

Other details to work on: finish assembling wedding party gifts, buying earrings, final meeting with the venue, finish assembling programs and probably a million other things as well.

Work on escort card designs, work on BP gifts, figure out a gift for my cousin doing a reading (bottle of wine?), write a few thank you's, work on vows, figure out the "do-not-play" list for the DJ and the special songs, stand up in my cousin's wedding Friday... and if we get approved for a particular apartment we're moving in on Saturday [:

Just picked up FI from the airport this morning. We're meeting with the priest in a bit to get the ball rolling on that. We're also going to decide on the menu with my parents tomorrow. Other than that I'm PACKING! I'm picking up the moving van later today and we hit the road on Wednesday. The long distance portion of our relationship is officially OVER!

Ally -- Congrats! You're so ambitious to try to move amidst the wedding stuff! I'm sooo trying to avoid that.

WR -- Still awaiting STD designs. My friend sent 1 last week, but said she wants to do a few more options. I loved the one she sent, so if I don't hear back with more this week, I may just tell her we're good with the one. I'm a bit sick of waiting on this.

Also, need to consolidate the many to-do lists I have going and start ticking off some of the details that we could start doing now: Table # cards, guest book, and the escort card display we're going to do.

NWR: Going out to dinner with a friend tomorrow and taking the day off Friday. Looking forward to that!

We thought about waiting, but FI works a seasonal job here that will be done in the next month or so. That would have us living completely off of my straight commission 60+hours/week job. We would be happier in Grand Haven, and it has a lower cost of living. Now with us expecting a baby in June as well, we figured the sooner the better.

Ally - congrats in your wedding week and the little one

Yay Emily for no more long distance! I'm sitting at the airport at the moment. I'm heading to Florida for work plus I've worked it out so I can see my bestfriend while I'm down there as well so I'm super pumped!! So if on a little slow on posting this week, that's why!

How exciting Liz! If you have to travel for work, Florida definitely isn't a bad option and it's great you get to see your best friend while down there.

Tonight one last place to look at bridesmaid dresses. I am making a choice after this.

I did a mock up of invataions with my mom this weekend. So I need to find a place to order paper from and get a good deal. As soon as that is here than we can start working.

Wednesday when my cousin comes home I have a few small changes to our STD and the ordering them.

WR:
*I have to drop off a deposit at the hotel for the shuttle (and our contract for the block).
*Send in our 2nd deposit for the church.
*I want to head to Josef's in Grosse Pointe to get a little info on their cakes (general pricing, etc)
*Get a "sample" centerpiece together. I am borrowing the ones for the wedding from Ford Field, but obviously wont get them until wedding week, so i want to make sure I have a sample I can actually see as I start to buy stuff
*We've had 7 friends move, so I need to update addresses and get our save the dates together

NWR:
I'm going to play on Shutterfly to make a gift for a friend for Christmas. I am SO excited to try it out!
