Less Than Three Weeks To Go and...

we have everything finally finished up for the big day.  The only setbacks are the groom and his groomsmen.  His brother was suppose to be the Best Man.. but he bailed on him.  His best friend then became the Best Man and he bailed on him.  He has three Groomsmen left so he is one short.  Less than half of the invites we sent for his side accepted.... all of mine accepted.  He is a little frustrated right now but the economy has a lot to do with it since most of his people are from out of town.

We also picked out the menu this past Friday but not sure how we want to do the BAR situation.  Open or cash?  Open for a couple hours and then cash?  What do y'all think?  We are paying for the whole wedding ourselves.

we did a open bar for beer and wine and we had a limited amount of tickets.  So once the tickets were all gone then we went to cash.  Liquor was cash as well throughout the whole night.

Are you having liquor? Is so cutting that out will help a lot - stick to beer and wine

Thank you for the comments.  Maggiano's has a 4 hour open bar package but it's about $23 more a person.  Beer and Wine package is $25 a person for the 4 hours.  We can do two hours of beer and wine for $18 a person.

This has been the toughest decision yet because we don't want to do the open bar first and then have people leave after the two hours of open bar.  Maybe do the open bar from at the end and do cash bar for the first couple hours?
