Good Place to order 4x6 prints

I want to print out some of our rehearsal dinner pics but I have never used any of the online places so I wasn't sure which one to use.  I took them to Walgreens and printed them out but I am not happy with the colors and overall quality of the prints. TIA

I have used Shutterfly if I don't need something right away.   For quick things, I have used Costco and both do a great job.

It costs a little more, but I think prints from Mpix are worth it.

Shuttefly.  Google coupon codes before you check out!

I used to only use Shutterfly (which I do love) but I also started using York Photo for when I am going to print a lot of pictures in bulk. I just printed our honeymoon pictures like 350 of them for like $28 (with shipping) through York. There was a coupon and it was like four cent prints. I also printed all our e-pics through York and didn't have any problems and was happy with the quality. If I am doing small batches I'd still prob use shutterfly though.

Kodakgallery.com is good, but that's if you have them mailed to you.  You can also order from them and pick them up at target.  While I'm a big fan of target, I don't think their picture quality is good at all.  I really don't care for walmart in general, but I think their pictures are excellent.  I've also used snapfish.com in the past and was happy with them as well.

Mpix is better than all the other options listed.  I have samples from all of those labs, plus snapfish, costco and a bunch more.  The paper and inks are better quality and seem to resist fading longer, and the colors are more true.

For 4x6 prints, however, It's hard to appreciate the differences vs larger prints.

For important pictures, I always use Mpix.  More expensive than retail when you factor in shipping, but they really are better quality and that will become even more obvious over time.
